Current first-party help pages govern product behavior. This site is an unofficial operational reference, and organization-specific security controls may be stricter than official syntax.

Known uncertainties

  1. The current CLI page explicitly requires the latest 1.12.7+ installer. The Updates page proves app and installer are separate. Requiring both displayed values at 1.12.7+ is this program's operational gate.
  2. The attributed first-party slogan that anything available in Obsidian can be done from the CLI is broad. This site's operational contract is the enumerated 115 desktop commands; it does not prove every third-party plugin action is stable or safe.
  3. The Headless pages do not document general note search/edit/property/task/plugin/UI/developer APIs, metadata-cache or plugin-graph access, or history/read/restore commands.
  4. The audited sources do not document credential-storage location/format, service supervision, or a cross-device convergence receipt. Those controls are organization policy, not product claims.
  5. No Obsidian account was authenticated and no live Sync or Publish operation was performed for this release. Account identity, entitlement, remote inventories, and provider convergence remain intentionally unclaimed.

Every desktop command page displays a citation banner linked to the current CLI source and this ledger. Each Headless page names its first-party source and retrieval date.
